The Bandits third baseman pounded out 5 hits to pace his team to a 13-8 thumping of the Kernels. Hector Fernandez singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Shamus Perfetto in the 7th, doubled in the 9th and hit a two-run single in the 9th. Fernandez is hitting .280 this season with 12 home runs, 84 RBIs and 98 runs scored. He has 168 hits in 601 at-bats. |   |
