 | Laramie Wins EBAAAA Player of the Week Prize
Monday, May 16th, 2005: There's nothing like being in the prime of your baseball career -- and playing like it. Just ask Jeremy Laramie, the Steenderen second baseman, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the EBA Triple A Player of the Week honors.
Laramie piled up 14 hits in 29 at-bats, 3 home runs and 12 RBIs while hitting .483.
This year Laramie has hit at a .446 pace and produced 18 RBIs, 4 home runs and scored 16 runs. |
 | Treviso Stops Konrad's Hit Streak
Saturday, May 14th, 2005: Arnim Konrad went 0-for-4 to break his consecutive-game hitting streak at 25 games. The 29-year-old Aulnay-sous-Bois first baseman failed to get a hit today in the Saloons 5-3 victory over the Treviso Impulse at Saloons Ballpark.
Thus far this year Konrad is hitting .336 with 2 home runs, 16 RBIs and 22 runs scored. |
